From training at Vue De Monde from a young age, to being head chef of multiple restaurants across Melbourne, creating the menu for The US Masters on repeat AND organising yearly gala's for Camp Quality, a foundation to support children with cancer, Matthew Butcher is one chef who's not messing around.

Seeing a gap in the market, in 2018 he opened an Israeli restaurant called Shiloh with a completely Kosher menu. To display his talent even further the venue is also completely dairy free. It is a must try for any nibbler.

His motive and passion for cooking, whilst making a difference through his line of work, doesn't go unnoticed. Being one of Melbourne's top restauranteurs Matthew kindly allowed us into his very busy kitchen not long ago to bombard him with a few questions. Take a look.
